My Story
Training Your Animal Friends
My name is Alyssa Byars and I have a passion for helping canines and their people! I’ve been working with animals professionally since 2013 and training professionally since 2018. I graduated from Lindenwood University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications. I then completed the Tom Rose School for Dog Trainers and received my professional certificate. I worked as a trainer for larger training chain before breaking out on my own to create Primetime K9.  I make it a priority to stay current with the latest science and methods in dog training and attend seminars for continued learning. When I'm not training client dogs, I enjoy training my own dogs for protection, competition obedience, dock diving, and more!

What I Offer You and Your Pets
Stay & Train
2 Week and 4 Week Programs
Our Stay & Train programs offer an immersive training experience for teaching your dog obedience, manners, behavior modification, and more. Dogs stay at our facility for the program duration, learning all the skills they'll need to be successful back at home. Each Stay & Train program includes private lessons for the parents to learn how to maintain and build upon what their dog has learned with the trainer.
Private Lessons
One-on-one training for you and your dog
Private lessons are taken on a case by case basis. Lessons take place in the client's home and scheduling is flexible. Each lesson is geared towards the client's goals and each client will get an individualized training plan. Private lessons are great for people who want to put in the time and effort to train all the behaviors themselves. We will give you the guidance and system to reach your goals during the hour lesson, but all the progress is made by doing your homework between lessons.
